Thanks so much for putting these photos up. They are brilliant. It's a strange feeling to unsuspectingly open a door into one's past while browsing an internet forum.

Some excellent photographs, particularly Wicker Arches and Neepsend.

The picture of Lydgate Lane looks more 1960s than 1980s though ofcause the cars indicate the latter decade.

i cheated and used sepia film!

i especially liked the old bus station picture.... i only managed to get one of it before it was pulled down, but it came out with a big black streak on the negative!

i was mourning its loss (despite the pissy smell) until the new one was finished, which i think is great...

although half of that's gone now too!

The one of setts market brough back memories of going down town at 6:30am on a Fri to buy shoes, why?

because it was taken at 6.30am on a friday morning when i went down to buy shoes!

i've added that hole in the road pic which someone asked for, plus a few more today!
