abigaler Posted January 25, 2006 Share Posted January 25, 2006 I am not originally from Sheffield, but have lived here for 30 years .When I go back to my home town -only 30 miles away and ask people if they want some spice,they don't really know what I am talking about and think I am being a bit suggestive .How did sweets come to be called spice here in Sheffield ?
