  1. I had mine nicked too! They usually tell you when they'll be bringing it when you phone up. Doesn't normally take long. Yes, give 'em a nudge. ---------- Post added 16-12-2015 at 14:10 ---------- Look out for a tag on your bin lid with all new collection dates next collection. We've just got one.
  2. You're not the only gay in the village now, you know! You wouldn't even be the only gay on the back pew! Get over yourself, we're not all Westboro' Baptists you know!
  3. Jake and his family are still in our thoughts and prayers. Summer's family and friends are in our thoughts and prayers also.
  4. It's nice to remember him at this time of year, as I remember him dressing up as Santa for the local kids.
  5. I'm sure God wouldn't mind. In fact, I think he'd be pleased to see you in church. I would.
  6. I blacked out for two minutes as a mark of respect. None of my neighbours did. Street lights were still on which is not very good I thought I might have heard the extremely faint inkling of a siren but saw no lights in the sky. Just heard lots of ambulances. I am very glad they marked the event as it is an extremely important event and I am pleased that they have risen the profile of commemorating what happened but the council should have taken a role and it should have been bigger so more people could be involved and better publicised.
  7. Will they be flicking the switch off the street lights in Sheffield at 7:15? Hope so.
  8. People are being asked to black out their homes at 7:15 for two minutes as a mark of respect, I have read on the website the facebook page links to.
  9. I came on the internet to see if there was any news about Jake. I will continue to pray for him and both Summer and Jake's families.
  10. Aww. That's just like him. Gent is the right word, really.
  11. Two years on, it's nice to remember John and how lovely he was.
  12. I got stung for a crazy amount of money parking at the one that goes under the road at the side of the crucible. Is that one still operational?
  13. Condolences to the family. I hope the other victim makes a good recovery. Obviously, we do not know what has happened in this instance but as annb3811 has said, it is a terrible stretch of road there for pedestrians to navigate, you do not know which way the buses are going to go and the buses do not seem to slow down.
  14. Thanks jimmy1975. I've just been reading the facebook page and intend to watch the documentary on there in a bit. Wow! What a remarkable event it should be. A wonderful tribute to those who lost their lives and those who were forced to endure such horror. I haven't got tickets to the Moor Market event and they've all gone now, but will there be other things going on on the Moor, that people without tickets can turn up to and mill around?
  15. So, the Meadowhall entertainment extension; are they having to fork out for improved infrastructure too to secure planning permission?
  16. Has any more information been released about this weekends events?
  17. http://www.theguardian.com/media/greenslade/2015/dec/04/so-david-camerons-70000-syrian-forces-claim-really-is-dodgy You can probably still get it on catch up.
  18. Don't forget Mr Shapps. Apparently, he's pretty good on the internet too. ---------- Post added 08-12-2015 at 12:38 ---------- :hihi: Has the last week simply passed you by? Does the figure 70,000 mean anything to you?
  19. Quick, but not as quick as you were at pointing out the Labour supporting newspaper.
