I photoed the pub and I noticed a official looking notice strapped to a pole it looks newish. The inside totally stripped out I remember the pub has having two small rooms with a central bar I think the building quite old would like to see it reopen who is the owner?
I never went in this pub even though I used to visit the Wicker pubs. Did the Hare and Hounds close due to been flood damaged as at the back theirs a river like what happened to the Farfield pub on Neepsend Lane?
I was brought up in a former coal mining village the local butchers sold dripping. I was given dripping on bread and told it would grease my stomach and all would be well. Even now I still like to paste dripping on my toast , how did this dripping eating come about why do believe people believe it does the stomach so good and why was it so popular with miners. Anyway this last post tonight night night.
I'm going to get lines for this posting twice in the General Discussions in one night . Anyway who else thinks that our great political system just a load of old rubbish ?
On a cold winters night theirs nothing nicer than a warm bed is their? If you failed to pull at the local nightclub the waterbottle comes to the rescue so how many of you still use the old faithfull water bottle?
While it's great that possibly the pub could reopen it would cost a lot to repair the building. The inside has been smashed up and the ceiling s are down will be interesting to see what happens.
I love the theme tune to Red Drawf love or hate the program the theme song always makes me smile it's cheerful like it should be. To serious today what happened to the fun?
IV had a good look for you unfortunately can not find anything, had the same problem with my pub project a pub can be their for hundreds of years but only leaves a address if your lucky. That aside your trailer looks good.
