  1. Stop piling on her. Or something. You will upset Fools.
  2. Oh look, LovePotion finally gets some back up. Cute.
  3. I think I made a list on another thread. I may try and find it. Ah yes here it is. Likely missed a few too. - In every pub - In every restaurant - In every club - In the cinemas - In the hotels - At the bowling alley - In every public building (such as the Town Hall and FirstPoint) - In the casino - In every university building - In every solicitors office - In McDonalds - In Atkinsons - In every single workplace - At the train station - At the bus station - At the blood donation place - Are there some in the Market too? - Maybe even the posh car parks like Q Park have them?
  4. There was an identical scheme in Sheffield before Covid, but couldn't find details of it when I last looked. In any case there are numerous places you can go, as stated. Someone's pride as to not want to do their business in a place they aren't spending money isn't our problem.
  5. Must also say I have never visited a retail park in my life expecting a cash machine to be there. Then again, I don't think the Rothschilds and the Jewish Lizards are attempting to take over the world and therefore I use a debit card in shops.
  6. For crying out loud not the public toilet debate again, it's been done to death on here of late. As for cash machines, what does that tell you?
  7. Trust me, it was there for years. Down near where the Greggs and Pound Bakery are. Don't believe me? http://paul-lancaster.co.uk/news-articles/98-moor-sheffield/
  8. After Bournemouth sacked a manager that kept them up last season, it's been a strange oul day.
  9. You want a pub in the market? That's not going to happen. There is already an outlet that sells beers from around the world. And there used to be a Crawshaws (the naff one) about 50 yards from the front door. Guess what? It shut down, I think along with the rest of them. The t'other Crawshaws really isn't going to add anything to what's already there.
  10. Buses down Cemetery Rd are infrequent (218 only). Just get any bus that goes down Ecclesall Rd (81, 82, 83 and 88 are the main four), get off just after Champs) Tbh you might as well just walk there if you are able to.
  11. Nope. https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/a44241874/full-monty-stars-season-2/ No 2nd series yet commissioned. She is either filming something else, was merely in Firth Park for pleasure, still in Sheffield doing promo work for Series 1, or it wasn't actually her.
  12. Just never used that term for meaning yesterday, just didn't scan right. Maybe it's a regional thing.
  13. A strange way of saying "yesterday" 😉
  14. The same trip on Uber is currently £12.90. Use a black cab or private hire, you choose to get ripped off.
  15. "He pays for all his utility bills and council tax at the local Asda, using their PayPoint machine, in cash". 😁 To be fair, I ONCE paid a water bill that way, I had a bit of cash in my wallet and it needed paying so I just went and did it at the local petrol station. Its on a monthly DD these days though.
  16. May as well predict it all now. "He pays for his car insurance through a High Street broker and pays in cash. He pays for all his petrol in cash. He buys his VED from the Post Office every year and pays in cash". Have I missed anything? 😄
  17. Well yes, I am just wonder what other barriers LovePotion...I mean Irene is now going to throw up. "My uncle only sends cheques through the post".....
  18. Birminghams site says this: You can pay online using the Government's payment system or you can call the Government's Clean Air Zone team on 0300 029 8888 for assistance. Given all the CAZ zones use the Gov.uk site for payments, I assume this phone number is a national call centre that can take payments for all zones, not just Birmingham. Not ringing it to check. Cue "what about if people dont have a landline", or "what about if they dont have a debit card and they want to pay by postal order"....
  19. I am only ever aware of one on Castle Street. Angel St was the entrance to the old department store wasn't it? The one that's been shut for years.
