  1. Seriously? It had big barriers around it last time I drove past, a big empty building like that not being utilised. So whats happening with it? Thought it was a decent enough hotel.
  2. No it wasnt. You do realise sometimes people will ask genuine questions dont you? I am not a fan of the club, I dont follow goings-on that closely, to an outside the corner of the stadium just looks a mess. Whats happening with it? Will it make you feel better if I say Hillsborough looks a mess too?
  3. It was a genuine question. Honestly, whats happening with it?
  4. Serious question. Now that Sheffield United are back in the top tier, are they going to sort out that mess on the corner of the ground on Bramall Lane (the old hotel)? Last time I drove past there it looked a disgrace.
  5. Given this was pre-recorded months ago, its easy to find out who wins if you really want to know.
  6. Also that article seems to suggest the jury decide the sentence. That doesn't sound sensible whatsoever.
  7. "The minimum sentence Pearson could have received was 25 years due to his prior convictions of aggravated robbery and continuous family violence" Even 25 years seems harsh.
  8. Same applies if offered a choice on a card machine.
  9. If people are adult enough to post on this forum, they should be adult enough to stand by their posts. I couldnt give a toss if they were male or female, or young or old.
  10. Ah so you acknowledge it was only a test now, we are getting somewhere.
  11. Maybe he meant Corporation the nightclub. Or, maybe he was talking utter crap.
  12. Don't even think they do a credit check as they don't offer overdrafts. I have made over £280 in cashback in the 16 months I have had the account.
  13. You would be better opening something like a Monzo or a Chase card. You get the bank rate at the time you do a transaction, no fees (except if a foreign cash machine charges but they have no control over it), and Chase's 1% cashback on everything is a lovely offer. https://www.chase.co.uk/gb/en/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=paid_search&utm_campaign=mkt-469_uk_gl_bau_sea_gg_acq_xdv_pr_adp_at1_brand_features&utm_content=brand_chase_cards_exact&utm_term=chase_card&ds_rl=1299624&ds_rl=1299624&gclid=CjwKCAjw9J2iBhBPEiwAErwpebCLskVOuVFJY6WbNbx7EAFqhJKl81nFZvyjKiRqcxpnqAq4OTuYtRoC9oMQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds I believe the travel cards mentioned above lock in the currency rate at the time you buy it so you can lose out by doing this. Obviously you can also gain, but that's the risk you take.
  14. Well yes but if he is just pottering around on YouTube he won't need anything approaching that fast, I only get 70 and I can stream multiple HD streams at once and it's fine for my needs, and I work from home. So just curious as to why a retiree in his late 70s (?) who by previous posts struggles with tech needs speeds so high, and if its possible he has been sold something he really doesn't need.
  15. About to say there is no issue with those speeds. As an aside, why do you feel you needed speeds that fast, I do hope you havent been missold a product here you dont really need.
  16. Did Starmer send that letter into the paper on Diane's behalf then? Listen to yourself.
  17. "Channel 5 spent tens of millions on getting the channel ready for launch on Easter Sunday 1997 so it should have worked straight off the bat, with absolutely no need for weeks of test transmissions first given channels 1 through 4 worked fine"
