You cannot go wrong with any of Sony's AX range, the ones that use balanced optical steadyshot are amazing, plus you can have other options within this range like 4K and built in projectors, personally I'd go with the AX53, it is very very good but at about 700 quid its not cheap.

Try searching for photos on the Creative Commons site, it will link you through its search engine to photos from various sites such as Flickr where up-loaders have given up copyright to allow anyone to use the pics.
