Having worked in a "Made in Sheffield" business I was shocked at how almost all the blades were actually bought from china then repackaged to make it look like they were made here, they are all at it.

Hardly the same.

As I said earlier that area had some real problems with anti social behaviour a few years ago but has really quietened down recently, if you move there I hope you are happy

Scary stuff Obelix, I wonder how this country would cope with just London being hit with such a device, how would the services cope with so many injured, what the psychological effects would be for the whole country, could that one event lead to a country wide descent into complete chaos and lawlessness.

I have known MOT centres that also carry out work scare female drivers into getting work done by not allowing them to take their own car home after a failure thus forcing them to get work done there and then, as far as I know they cannot do that.

My parents had a bench seat and table stolen from their garden on Barrie Crescent the other day.

All of which has no bearing on the type of people that live there.

We had one visiting my parents flower bed constantly throughout the day for about a week a few years back at Southey Green, it was so fast it was impossible for me to get a pic of, its behaviour was incredible, nothing at all like a moth and very much like a bird.

I wonder if people that are on DamascusForum are posting about how hard life is shopping in Sheffield city centre

Sorry Chelle, I just used the word literally to mean loudest, and its true on any forum that the people who have had problems shout the loudest about them, sorry about the word but honestly it wasnt meant as an insult to you I know that area has had its problems but the ones I know that live on Fairbarn Drive have said that for them at least it has calmed down but they have had problems in the past. I have never lived in flats or maisonettes so I dont really know how trouble families reach out into other homes but on streets it can be very pocketed, one part can be a nightmare but it can be peaceful just a handful of houses away.

It cannot be far from Fairbarn Drive and I know a few that love it up there, it is no different from anywhere else, a mix of good and bad but the ones that have had a bad experience are the gobbiest about it. ---------- Post added 05-08-2015 at 15:31 ---------- Same here, the ones I know bought them as well, they love it up there.
