The majority of people in Wetherspoons Pubs seem to sit at the table ordering food and drinks on their phone using their app. -

No they don’t do the same for me and she is a teacher. If I didn’t when it is windy the bin would be blow into The River Tyne. Her mother does sometimes when she is looking after the children when the neighbours are at work. -

I’m still thinking of a good deed. Just thought of one, bringing my neighbours bin back in after it’s been emptied. They never do the same for me. -

I gave someone my last Rolo. -
I hope they will lose seats, I’m hoping it will weaken there fight for independence, for now.

Thank you I will. I remember Greggs when they had there only shop in Gateshead, they made lovey oven bottom cakes and stotties on the premises. There was always a queue, use to take a bagful back to Sheffield at the end of my school holidays. They don’t taste the same now.

It will be interesting to see how many SNPs win seats in the next election.

Never thought of that. They did originate from Newcastle.

I agree with you on this. Is Government giving Scotland extra money to keep them sweet and remain part of the UK?

I have moved from Sheffield to Newcastle, not that long ago. I find Sheffield people are friendlier than Newcastle folk. It surprised me how many Geordies walk round with a chip on there shoulder.

I’m going to give it a try, I do like tuna. I normally buy it in sunflower oil but next time will buy it in spring water.

Nhs - Free Blood Pressure Checks.

I had mine checked at Boots last year. I have also noticed that mobile clinics in supermarket car parks keep popping up now and again, they do blood pressure checks and give advice. -
Marmite, I wasn’t very keen the first time I tried a small amount on a teaspoon. A few years later I was told by a friend who liked marmite, it’s good for you and full of B vitamins, so I decided to try it again on a slice of buttered toast and I enjoyed it. They say there’s no middle ground with marmite, you either love it or loath it. I’m one of those who love it.

I like popcorn, I prefer it savoury although I don’t mind eating it sweet. Below is some information on the benefits of it. After reading get your pan out with a lid and start popping. Be careful with the butter tho. Corn is a whole-grain and as such, high in fibre; whole-grains have been linked to a lower risk of heart disease, diabetes and some cancers. Most of us don’t eat enough fibre, which is important to support digestive health and to help slow the rate of digestion and absorption. Popcorn is also a good source of polyphenols, which are plant compounds with protective, antioxidant properties that have been linked to better blood circulation and digestive health, as well as a potentially lower risk of certain cancers. With a low-energy density, popcorn is a low-calorie snack, and being high in fibre it's also filling and, therefore, useful to include in a weight management diet. Taking all this into account when air-popped and served either plain, or flavoured with herbs or spices like cinnamon or paprika, popcorn is a healthy snack.

I was fully expecting you to say that. Pleased your concerned about Hackey tho.

The Best Pubs In Sheffield?
hauxwell replied to SheffieldForum's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
It’s a few years since I got caught up in a football match at Hillsborough, Wetherspoons was open then with plenty of security on the doors. I live in Newcastle and I haven’t noticed any of the Wetherspoons pubs closing when there is a football match at St James which is in the centre of Newcastle. -
The Best Pubs In Sheffield?

I love ordering food and drinks on the app at Wetherspoons Pubs. Especially when there’s a football match on which affects some of there pubs. You don’t have to go to the bar where the drunks like to stand on match day. -
