When I watch Emmerdale or Coronation Street, sometimes they deal with a traumatic story. It can be a rape victim who is unable to talk about it, or a young person who has been groomed. At the moment Corrie is doing a story about someone who is dying from Motor neurone disease. At the end of the series when the credits start to roll up the screen someone will say, If you have been affected by issues in tonight’s episode you can visit. They will give you a link with more information if you need help and want to talk to someone. I’m not sure if this is classed as reaching out but if it is I don’t think it is a bad thing. Is this political correctness echo?

It looks as though double child murder Pitchfork is going to be kept in Prison for now. He’s been turned down for parole. When he was released on license he’d been loitering in forests and parks and had approached lone women during his brief spell of freedom. Thank heavens pressure was put on the parole board to do the right thing. He needs to be locked up for life.

Europe's highest court has frustrated Britain’s attempts to deport the criminal daughter-in-law of hate preacher Abu Hamza. This is just ONE example how the European Courts have blocked the government from deporting criminals from the UK. I’m sure there are many more immigrants in British prisons who will do exactly the same when they are released.

Why should Judges who sit in a court in Strasbourg decide whether an asylum seeker/immigrant who has committed burglary, rape or murder be allowed to stay in this country once they have served there prison sentence? It should be decided by the final court of appeal in the UK, not in a foreign country.

We have had quite a bit of snow in Newcastle and Gateshead today. It’s also been an awful cold summer this year especially on the coast. We could do with a bit of global warming in the North East.

What bits I've watched of this daft show I have only seen Nige encouraging Nella when she was chosen to do the trials. I agree with what's been said let's wait and see what Nige has to say about it. One of the reasons I watched this show was because Farage was in it.

There’s a conspiracy theory about the Twin Towers, 9/11. Some delusional people believe that the Twin Towers was an inside job. They believe it was a controlled explosion because of how they collapsed. Two large commercial passenger airplanes carrying thousands of gallons of fuel flew into the towers had nothing to do with it. welcome back cuttsie.

They are advertising day trips to Sheffield Christmas market or a separate trip to Meadowhall from Newcastle and Gateshead this coming Saturday. So get ready the Geordies are going to be invading Sheffield or Meadowhall on that day, you’ll know who they are when they start to talk. The Christmas market in Newcastle is now in full swing. We probably have the same festive stalls as Sheffield, but it’s the way in which all the stalls/log cabins have been arranged, it doesn’t look as nice as Sheffield. Just before the first lockdown I thought Sheffield Christmas market was magical. The Big Wheel was at Barkers Pool and a Carousel, log cabins and decorations in The Peace Gardens, Newcastle’s Christmas Market was a bit of a let down after seeing Sheffields. No wonder they are doing day trips from up here to Sheffield. JH coaches will be the first ones heading to Sheffield this Saturday. A few people I know have booked a day trip and I have told them they won’t be disappointed
