Lawrence Fox thinks racism to white people is possible. When he was on Question Time a woman in the audience said Megan Markle experienced racism living in this country. Lawrence said to the lady in the audience, rubbish we are one of the most tolerant counties in Europe. If I remember right the lady then called Lawrence a white privileged male. Lawrence said to the lady, your being racist calling me a white privileged male.

I want Scotland to stay part of the UK, but if they did become an independent country I believe economically they would be okay once things settled down. How it would effect the rest of the UK that’s a different matter.

She could have slipped down the bank next to the river, it’s not flat looking at pictures. She has a drink problem and I thought the police said they don’t know if she was drinking alcohol before she went on her walk. I think she let her dog off the lead to exercise.

The only time I watched Line Of Duty was when Kelley Hawes was in it, that’s because I like her so I can’t comment on how it ended. As for Happy Valley it was good but I wanted to see the pharmacist charged with murder. As ukdobby said it was left open a bit

If the police theory is correct that the lady could have fallen into the river I wonder if she thought her dog was going to jump into the river so she chased after it and fell in.

I saw this story on the news last night. Specialist search teams are searching the river but I think the lady has been abducted. It would be nice if there was a happy ending to this story and she was found safe and well.

Defiance The film is based on a true story about Jewish Refugees living and trying to survive in a forest in Nazi occupied Belarus for over two years. There are some upsetting scenes. I thought the film was very good. Daniel Craig and Jamie Bell are in the film. 9/10

Thanks for the information I didn’t expect Taiwan to be anywhere near the same as Chinas but they certainly have been spending on their armed forces in the last few years. As you said in an earlier post there’s still room for more training of troops.

I would like to know how Taiwan would respond if China invades, will they put up a fight like Ukraine. I don’t know much about the Taiwan army, or there military strength? Hopefully they have been preparing in case China launches an invasion.

I can understand Crookesey’s frustration with political parties at the moment. If there was a general election today I would vote for the eeny, meeny, miny, moe party. There’s still a few more years until the next election so it will be interesting to see if Rishi can turn things around to win it, that’s if the Tories haven’t ousted him out.
