It was in the local newspaper a few years ago how many times they have had to go out and rescue people who got into difficulty. Most of them are volunteers, so yes I will continue to suppose them for that reason.

I must be honest I didn’t take Putin’s threats to use nuclear weapons seriously at first but Joseph Burrell the EU’s foreign policy chief has told the BBC that the war has reached a dangerous moment. I think Putin is desperate.

I can’t explain the dogs reaction but I’m sure the British police will have looked into this. I think I’m right in saying that our police do not believe the MacCanns are suspects. For me the only crime Maddies parents have done was leaving her while they went out for dinner. I have said this before on here, two small words which can be Enormous, IF ONLY, and those words will be with them for the rest of their lives. I truly believe they are innocent.

I don’t believe the McCanns sedated their children when they went out for dinner. Even if they did sedate them I find it hard to believe two qualified Doctors didn’t know the amount of drugs to give them before it caused serious harm to the children. It’s more likely the Portuguese police made a few blunders in the early stages of the investigation and the McCanns complained, which the police didn’t like. I don’t think the crime scene, the apartment, was sealed off, something I would have thought would have been the first thing the police would have done. Until someone is charged with Maddies murder, if ever, it will be one of those stories were some people will say the parents murdered their daughter and others like me believe they are innocent.

How desperate must Putin be to send prisoners to war. I hope when he does start to call up more reserves there is civil disobedience in Russia.

Not sure how much truth there is in this link but it wouldn’t surprise me if some Russians are trying to leave the country. I did hear something on the news the other day about rioting in Leicester but I didn’t know the full story of the cause of the unrest. I know more about what has happened after reading top4718’s post.

If these two religions can’t get on with each other living in the UK then we will have to do what happened in India when the country was divided after British rule ended in 1947, muslims can have Scotland and hindus can have Wales. Every other religion can stay in England. That might solve the problem. Seriously tho let’s hope it’s just an isolated incident.

The Queens funeral is going to be a Bank Holiday. Although they have not announced the date. Hopefully they will do it tomorrow. The Great North Run is going ahead tomorrow up here in Newcastle. Smaller events have been cancelled for today. In fairness it should go ahead, people travel from all over the UK, its the worlds largest half marathon and hotels will have been booked. The Red Arrows who fly over the Tyne Bridge during the marathon are going to do two flyovers. Not sure if it is out of respect for our late Queen. I hope it is.

Yes, she will be a Queen. The difference between a Queen and a Queen Consort is our late Queen ascended the throne through succession. On the other hand Queen Consort is the wife of the reigning monarch. Also I don’t think Queen Consorts can inherit the throne.

A friend recommended Ozark but a relative said the same as you, it does not end in a satisfactory way. I suppose I’ve come this far so I’ll stick with it then moan about the end when I get there.

Ozark Ozark is about a financial adviser who has to move his family from Chicago to the Missouri Ozarks. The family has to launder 500 million dollars for a sadistic drug dealer if they want to stay alive. I’ve become addicted to this show. There are 4 seasons and I’m over half way through season 3 which so far is the best season. Can’t wait to see how it ends so I’ll just have to carry on binge watching.
