  1. You should be proud of your little superstar. She is certainly dedicated with all of that training. What about her coach contacting some supermarkets? Hope someone on here points you in the right direction failing that.
  2. I didn’t guess any correct. It was something to watch, for me two week was enough.
  3. Yes you are correct. I remember watching a TV mini series about him because he was the first person to be caught using DNA evidence and he did ask a friend to take the DNA test for him.
  4. The Judge who sentenced this monster years ago said he should never see day light, he went through all of the evidence and saw how evil he is. The parole board and I would imagine a psychiatrist think he is ready to be released because he’s been rehabilitated. How reliable is their evidence? Give the families of these girls who he murdered justice, keep him in prison. A life sentence shouldn’t be called a life sentence when it’s not. I agree.
  5. Apologies, but I thought most people knew about Long’s demise. The story is really about how Lisa survived her ordeal and how she helped the police to catch him. It’s still worth watching to see how clever and brave she was. I better not say anymore.
  6. At the end of the film I’m sure it said that Long was still in prison but after many appeals over the years he was executed in 2019. I can remember his death being reported on TV.
  7. Believe Me. It’s a true story about a girl who was abducted in 1984 by a serial killer and survived. I enjoyed this film. 8/10
  8. I’ve lived in Newcastle for six years and I don’t think the Geordie slang is as bad as it use to be when I use to visit as a child. But you still get the odd person who uses it.
  9. I’ve just watched a remake of the 2020 version of Daphne du Maurier’s, Rebecca. I preferred the older one, directed by Hitchcock, the acting was much better and more convincing. I would like to see a remake of Starman. Jeff Bridges was is this film.
  10. Yes, I agree with you. It’s not very often I look at this thread now.
  11. Innocent It’s about a woman who was wrongly accused of murder. After five year in prison she is released because she was found not guilty. Katherine Kelly who I like plays the main role. I thought it was good, but then I like most things when Katherine is in it. She’s a Barnsley lass who hasn’t forgotten her roots.
  12. I don’t know if I was suppose to click onto visit the gallery but it was good. The best one being the dog helping a driver reverse the car into a parking space. I thought that was funny.
  13. Oh that was funny. As long as you enjoyed it that’s the main thing.
  14. Neither did I. But I’m sure they could do a better job than Tony Blair when he was the Middle East peace envoy.
  15. I hope you are right. I agree with Anna, people have had enough and it’s time to live with it. I feel sorry for all of those people who have had their operations cancelled and put back for months because of the virus.
  16. I changed my Driving Licence from the paper one to the photo card one a few years after the Twin Towers in America were blown up by terrorists. It seemed to change a few things after that. The banks were concerned about money laundering and security. It was becoming difficult to open a bank account if you didn’t have a passport, which I didn’t at the time, or the photo card driving license. Now everything seems to be checked electronically. At the time I remember thinking it wasn’t a bad idea when Tony Blair wanted to bring in identity cards, I thought it would solve the problem. I wonder why Blair scrapped the idea? I have known people in the past, before postal voting was allowed, use someone else’s voting card because they were unable to go to the polling station to vote for them. Photo identification would stop that. I can’t say I’m against the idea of having to take a photo ID to the polling station.
  17. Israel seems very advanced when it comes to weapons so it wouldn’t surprise me if they did. I am out of my depth when it comes to countries with advanced weapons.
  18. I was going to say thank heavens they don’t have nuclear weapons. However I’m not sure if Israel possesses a few nuclear warheads.
  19. I’m not sure that Israel did start the The Yom Kippur war in 1973, they were attacked by Arab states when they were celebrating Yom Kippur a jewish religious festival. After each war though with Arab states Israel seems to take more land off them.
  20. I wouldn’t rely on Kiers fancy foot work. It didn’t work in the Hartlepool by election. Looking at this link I don’t think it would be needed anyway. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/6253699/iron-dome-israel-aerial-defence-system-missile-attacks/
