I hope you are right about Kelvin, he’s my favourite dancer and I would like to see him win the competition. I know he isn’t the best dancer but I also like Chris Ramsey.

Sad news, use to enjoy watching Gary’s shows and his sunshine personality. RIP

General Election 12 December.

Labour might pick a few votes in the election from the WaspI’s. They are going to compensate the 3 million women who lost out on their pension because they were expecting to retire at 60. It’s going to cost 58b to do this. Johnson was honest enough to say the money isn’t there when asked if he would compensate the women. I agree that a women’s retirement age should be the same as men, but it should have been introduced over a slightly longer period of time. -

The Queen has stripped him of his duties and also his £250k annual income from the Sovereign Grant. -
If you contact the Bereavement Services, Sheffield council they might have a map of the cemetery. I got one for a cemetery in Newcastle last year because I wanted to find out where my grandfather was buried. I didn’t have to pay for it and the lady who worked in the bereavement department pointed out which section in the cemetery my Grandfather was buried. It might be worth giving them a call.

Didn’t know she was promoting a book. She will be after all the limelight she can get if that’s the case, to make a few million dollars from it. -
General Election 12 December.

Does any one know why Hilary Clinton is interfering in our December General Election? She has done an interview with the BBC. Something to do with a report on Russian interference in British politics, she says that the report should be released before the General Election, and not after. Could it be because she believes Russia interfered with the American Presidential Election, which she lost. How can Russia interfere with a general election in the UK? -
I thoroughly agree with you.

What a nice story it’s been on TV today. Each year the Black Cab taxis line up on London Bridge on Remembrance Sunday all day, to give free lifts to veterans who are going to march past the Cenotaph. Then they take them back to the station or where they want to be after they marched passed the Cenotaph.

I’ve been watching some episodes of Steptoe and Son on YouTube, they were funny. I’d like to see The Darling Buds of May repeated.

No need to call Trump, Remember Obama interfering with British Politics saying the UK would go to the back of the queue in any trade deal with the US if we leave the EU. Thank heavens he is no longer President. -
At the Metro shopping centre in Gateshead and Eldon Square shopping centre in Newcastle the cadets from all the armed forces should be there at the weekend selling poppies. They take over the place, there is no shortage of them, but it’s nice to see these young people in their smart uniforms. I’d be surprised if there isn’t poppy sellers at Meadow Hall this Saturday.

I’m not sure what to think about the postal vote, I’ve been told that it is open to fraud. I wasn’t aware that you could vote online until I read tinfoilhat’s link and I don’t think I trust that method either. I’m going to cast my vote the old fashioned way by going to the polling station on the day, putting my cross on a piece of paper then putting it in the box, come rain, snow or sunshine. -

I didn’t think there would be a general election just yet, I thought the next election would be the fixed term Parliament Act, then I had my doubts. In between the Christmas ads on TV at the beginning of December there is also going to be - We Now Have A Party Political Broadcast On Behalf Of The ? Party. -
There should be conservation areas for the red squirrels in some areas of the country, if not we could lose them. They greys seem to be thriving in Sheffield. I use to like watching them trying to climb up my neighbours washing pole which was heavily coated in oil to stop them pinching the birds food. There was a scheme in parts of Northumberland were people were asked to report any sightings of grey squirrels so they could catch them, I don’t think there is one in Sheffield, so the greys have got there own conservation areas to.
