  1. You are wasting your time if you are expecting a reply and I think you know why.
  2. I’m not sure that there will be civil unrest, but we have been told by a policeman who works for Northumbria Police that they have been preparing for it, if it should happen. Parliament is a disgrace and I wouldn’t vote for any of that lot.
  3. It does look worrying. She doesn’t seem interested in the egg to me. Is it the same mrs p as last year? I have no idea on that one.
  4. The man you need to talk to is Jeffrey Shaw. He should be able to advise you. He is a moderator on here.
  5. Rinsing your mouth out with warm salt water about 8 hours after the tooth extraction should help with the infection and the healing process, but I’m sure your dentist will have given you after care instructions on this.
  6. It was on Victoria Derbyshire news show and that was the first time I have heard about it. One lady had difficulties trying to breast feed her baby after the procedure. Some of these girls have had FGM and then their breasts ironed, it’s awful and it makes you wonder what other things they have to suffer.
  7. You could always try this link. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent.html
  8. Sad news. I was listening to No Regrets the other day. RIP
  9. I don’t think it is the end of the world there is still a lot of good people out there.
  10. This incident happened in Gateshead, near Newcastle. There is a school where this young girl and her disgraceful mother got off the bus called Heworth Grange School Gateshead. The teachers went on strike because of the pupils bad behaviour, I’ve never heard of that before. I’m sure you will be able to google it for more information about the strike, as it was on the news. I wonder what the language is like when these pupils use public transport to go home if the teachers can’t control them in class? When this young ginger hair girl and her mother got off the bus, I noticed they were both nicely dressed which didn’t fit with the bad language that came out of this young girls mouth. Although this didn’t happen in Sheffield I have heard bad language used on the trams and buses by school children, but they were older than this young girl. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/heworth-grange-school-gateshead-strike-15794908
  11. A young girl about the age of five and her mother got on the bus a few weeks ago. The young girl was shouting at her mother in a loud voice and just about every other word was a swear word which started with the letter F. Not one person on the bus said anything, I think we were all afraid to. This sort of language is frequently used on public transport but I’ve never heard it used by someone so young. I suppose when someone so young swears they are repeating things that they hear every day in the home and it’s just the norm for them. It makes me wonder how teachers cope with these children in the classroom? I wouldn’t be surprised if they have to have special training for dealing with bad language in class this day and age.
  12. Not sure who is in the nest, but I hope I don’t get hooked on this webcam like I did last year. There didn’t appear to be a egg last night, so womder when it was laid?
  13. It’s been on the news today, ISIS has been defeated, for now. Their interpretation of religion needed to be destroyed, to kill people who worship another form of religion to them in brutal ways is disgusting. Let’s hope their ideology can also be dismantled. I have no time for religion, but it people find comfort from their beliefs and it does not interfere with others, I can live with that.
  14. How long would it have taken to get Begum back into this country if she was allowed to return? There would be paper work to sort out, who to hand her over to. I don’t believe for one moment her return would happen over night. The baby could have still died even if government had allowed her to return to the UK.
  15. I have a feeling I’m going to get a lot of abuse from what I’m about to say, but was Begum capable of killing her own child?
  16. Thanks for that. I must have been watching to many movies.
  17. What percentage of soldiers from the Confederate Army didn’t want to go to war, but we’re not given the option as to whether they wanted to join the army?
  18. I’m not sure about all of the areas that were mentioned but I’m sure Soho is one of them. Now it’s a long time since I was in the City so I have no idea what that area is like. Apologies but this should have been on post 85.
  19. There was something on the news this morning that more metal detectors are going to be deployed in London. To enter certain parts of the city you have got to go through these arched shaped detectors. The police said they are going to become a more familiar sight in the city. Nice to know that certain parts of the city are being made safe and hopefully knife free.
  20. A former Home Office Minister is calling on the Government to treat knife crime the same as terrorism. I’m not sure if that means a longer sentence if someone is convicted using a knife?
  21. Eamon and Ruth were doing exercisers for your back on their Sunday This Morning Show. The exercises strengthen the core of your back which relieves back pain. They did about five different exercises. One of the exercises was a spinal stretch, it feels nice when you do this exercise, but I suspect you may already be doing this one. The only exercises I do is walking, only short walks. I’m not sure if walking helps to strengthen your back, but these exercises looked so simple. I’m going to start and do some of them. If you have got catch up TV or Demand, whatever it’s called these days, I would say take a look and see what you think. I hope things start to improve with your back and the pain starts to settle down.
  22. I won’t be joining him on the walk, but a few of us are going to Sunderland to wave them off, its only ten minutes from where I live. Just getting my Leave Means Leave flag ready now.
  23. We have no need to call Mr Trump on gum crime in America. The stabbings in this country has become an epidemic. Not only in London but in other parts of the city. Police numbers could have something to do with it, but something has changed in this country, but the government says they are going to tackle the problem. I don’t think they know how to.
  24. Hospitals in England are going to hand out pads and tampons free of charge to woman and girls if needed, and so they should. I wasn’t aware that hospitals hand out free razors to men but not sanitary protection to women, so this is the reason they are doing this. This was one of the reasons I voted to leave the EU, because the UK could not remove VAT on woman’s sanitary protection, the EU said no. After a long fight with Brussels they did allow us to reduce the VAT, and after further campaigning they have agreed to remove VAT altogether, but not yet, we have to wait a few more years, we must obey Brussels. It’s disgraceful that we have to go to the EU to get their permission to do this. I’m not sure if hospitals can claim back VAT on these products already, but if not every penny helps. Last year Government said they will remove VAT on these items straight away after Brexit. This change is positive.
