  1. He’s writing his autobiography. What’s he trying to do promote it so he can make a few million. Didn’t think he was a very good chancellor or PM. I don’t think he was much better than the bankers.
  2. I know you say you don’t want t to go into detail, but I am curious to know what the conversation was to prompt them to say what they did. Was it something do do with the work they were doing in your home that made them joke about it? I’m curious now, but I also respect you don’t want to go into detail.
  3. I think the survivors of the Holocaust want the next generation to remember what happened and their stories are never forgotten. You are right in what you are saying, I also think it is positive.
  4. If government does not use its power to stop it, then I will agree with what you are saying. However I am hoping it is just newspaper rubbish.
  5. I truly hope also that this information is false news, but I also believe that areas governed by dim wit councils are daft enough to give them homes. To justify their actions they will say they need counselling to integrate them back into society. These people should never be allowed back into our country.
  6. I had the spray, it’s a few years ago now. It wasn’t to bad. I felt as though I had a mouthful of sawdust after they took the camera out. You can’t eat or drink for a few hours after the spray, but it could be different now.
  7. Yes he is back next week, he had other work commitments, but Craig did a very good impression of him.
  8. Yes I think life should mean life for murderers. Anyone who has sexually abused a child and then murdered them should be kept in prison for the rest of their lives, and there is a few of these freaks of nature in prison at the moment. I know this is now an historical crime and I have mentioned this on another topic before, but what a pity Brady and Hindley, child torturers and murderers, missed out on the death sentence because it had just been abolished. Any murderer who takes pleasure in torturing then murdering their victims does not deserve to live. If hanging these people makes the state as bad as the criminal I can live with that. Life should mean life for these people because the death penalty is no longer an option.
  9. Are you sure he is not into men? Hard to tell at times if a man is gay. Worst thing about some of these gay men they are so good looking.
  10. I do like the big sing that songs of Praise do at The Royal Albert Hall once a year.
  11. At times I half watch Songs of Praise, and there is the odd religious song I like even though I am not religious. A few years ago a friend of mine was trying to get me to go to church hoping I would find god like her. We went to St Thomas Church in Crooks were she lived. What an experience that was, never seen a church as full as that before, not even on Songs of Praise. Half way through the service some of the people looked as though they were in some sort of a trance. There were hands waving in the air, shouting to god I think. Some were talking in a strange voice with their arms waving all over the place. When I asked my friend what they were saying and doing, she said they were speaking in tongues, some sort of biblical talk she told me. I couldn’t wait to get out. There was a lot of students there, but it did draw the crowds in with all that hokey poky going on. I went to the 6’0 clock service, there was a 9’0 clock service that was in the news not long after my few visits. I think the Anglican vicar or what ever he was, was being investegted for sexual abuse, or something to that effect about his 9’0 clock service. It’s what he was doing during the service to women. I’m sure there was also a documentary about him on TV.
  12. There is a bed and breakfast place on Penistone Road. It’s called Alara, I have no idea what it is like. Was told a few years ago that it was okay, but I’m sure it had a different name then, so it could be under new management now. I think this is the phone number 0114 2340108.
  13. Well you could be right. I'm not that sure where it is.
  14. I think it is where Poundland and Argos is. I'm sure that's the pheasant entrance.
  15. I like Ruth Davidson, but isn't she an MEP. To be Prime Minister I'm sure you have to be a MP? If that's the case she'll just have to put herself forward if there is a by-election in the future. I still think May will stay as PM until the next election.
  16. Has any one got a recipe for sweet and sour sauce. Tried one that I googled, not bad but still room for improvement. I do buy it in a jar but just thought I would experiment making my own.
  17. Well done, that was brilliant. Definitely made me laugh.
  18. A person who can deliberately cause pain and suffering to animals makes me wonder what are they capable of doing to people. I suspect the majority of rapists and child murderers at some stage in their lives have caused pain and suffering to animals. These people have no feelings.
  19. Might not have to worry about the forum in 10 years time. The way things are going with Trump and North Korea, there could be nukes flying right left and centre. Could wipe out the humane race and the Sheffield Forum with it.
  20. Fair enough I hear what you are saying, as long as everyone does.
  21. If an area is pedestrianised then is should be free from cyclists and cars. I'm sure there are responsible cyclists, but on busy days I have watched cyclists ride very closely in between people on pedestrianised areas. Why should they be allowed to ride a bike in these area? What's your opinion? There is a little area outside Newcastle called Gateshead and over the last few years they have been adding more cycle lanes next to the busy roads and it seems to be working very well, it must be a cyclists paradise the amount of cycle lanes they have added. I have no objection to more cycle lanes being built keeping motorists and cyclists safe and separate from each other. Are these lanes being built because there are more accidents, I tend to think they are. Just my opinion.
  22. There seems to have been a few accidents lately just found this link. I definitely feel that cycling should be banned where parts of the city have been pedestrianised. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/elderly-woman-cyclist-collision-dies-oxford-street-london-met-metropolitan-police-a7946736.html
  23. Perhaps it's their life style, drugs, cigarettes and also the stress of being a celebrity, combined with some of them getting older and how they have abused their bodies, it's finally caught up with them. What's that saying it come in three, but there does seem to be a few of them dying.
  24. She played Vera Duckworth brilliantly over the years. RIP
