it's o.k for someone learning to fish as it's stuffed with all kinds of fish. fish a maggot shallow close in for a fish a chuck or pellet/corn/ meat on the deck for a slightly better stamp of fish.

 

sounds like just the place i should be taking my lad to get him interested, ive never even heard of it!!

what sort of stamp of fish can you get if you fish on the deck with bigger baits?

also what type of fish will you get? not bothered about getting bitted out with smaller stuff tbh. have been fishing up at norwood and clearwater, looking for another localish venue thats got quality mixed fishing, rather than just/mainly carp.

Theres some nice fish in cowgap but getting through to them can be difficult cos its that stuffed with tiny fish which are a nuisance.

 

The owner needs to implement a netting regime to remove the smaller fish, obv he could sell them on for profit and either pocket the money or reinvest it in larger fish
