There was one directly in front of you as you walked in the entrance from the Park Square roundabout bridge (opposite the sweet shop ), then there was another sort of in the middle of the market, and another near the exit which brought you out to where Woolworths was. Think of it, we could have been an elbows width away, me looking through science fiction books, you buying soft porn, not even realising that one day in the future we would meet on a comp. nanrobbo Posted July 4, 2006 Share Posted July 4, 2006 Gee the broken biscuit stall brought back memories. Mum used to buy them and Dad would say "I'm not eating them they're sweepings up!" We kids used to scoff em though. I don't know if it was called the Sheaf Market - the one I mean was the big Black stone building- Mum used to buy Dad's pieces of leather from there too because Dad 'cobbled shoes' to make a few extra bob.
