Uptowngirl
I was just looking at a DVLA advert for a coming auction of personalised number plates. The ad showed the plates with illegal letter/number spacing in order to create the illusion of words from the numbers and letters. As this is illegal for the buyer to do and would lead to the police stopping the car and a fine being imposed, how ethical is it of the DVLA to advertise these plates in this manner. geared
Since when has the DVLA ever been interested in the people they serve?
alchresearch
Where was the ad? All the registrations on their website are spaced correctly.
Guest
There's nothing wrong with showing plates however they want on the website.

Don't you see any problem with a government department displaying stuff for sale in a way that it can't legally be used?
willman
I've never seen an incorrect number plate ion the DVLA official site, and we've got 6 private plates between us,all bought direct from DVLA.
