Folks often reduce him to Dr Loomis in the Halloween films, one of his dullest roles. I recommend Cul-de-Sac or Soldier Blue for film buffs, and of course his performances in The Great Escape and You only live twice (on which Mike Myers based Dr Evil) for a rainy Sunday afternoon.
