To complement this thread, give me a list of what, in your opinion, are (or were; choose buildings now gone, if you like) the ten most beautiful buildings in Sheffield.

The Lyceum is gorgeous....functionally it's rubbish.

 

There are some quite stunning old buildings around the Fargate/High St area but you need to crane your neck upwards above all the crappy shops.

 

I agree. You can't belive that only few years ago the City hall was considered for demolition.

The area around the Lyceum is great. The Library is lovely. The Winter Gardens are great. Pinstone Street too. I also love Firth Hall and loads of the little buildings near Silversmiths.
