The following roads / areas are closed: Ball Street Bridge at Kelham Island Barrow Road Cowley Lane in Chapeltown Fife Street at Wincobank Green Lane/Woolley Wood bottom in Ecclesfield Meadowhall Road Meadowhall Bus Station Mill Road in Ecclesfield Nursery Street Shiregreen Lane, outside Concord Sports Centre The Common in Ecclesfield Upwell Street Whitley Lane in Ecclesfield Sheffield Road in Rotherham These roads / areas are also affected: Nearside Lane on Penistone Road by Hillsborough Park Europa Link Darfield - Stonyford Road, Station Road and Low Valley Area Thurnscoe - Park Road - Dearnlea Residential Home has been evacuated Please note that general traffic is being allowed to go through the tram gates at Hillsborough. neeeeeeeeeek Posted June 25, 2007 Share Posted June 25, 2007 I just nipped home to Burngreave, the new bit of ringroad by the riverside pub seems to be closed as all traffic is being diverted back up rock street, Burngreave road is solid all the way up past the speed camera, I tried and failed to get from Burngreave road back to the airport, traffic is statonary from the spital hill end of Carlisle street to the mini roundabout and it's solid towards the arena from brightside lane.
