Milestone - 2 courses and wine/beer for £12 daily, 5 - 7

DamHouse - 2 courses £15/3 courses £20

I think it's worth mentioning that you can go to a few independent places, especially on London Rd, have a fantastic meal for two, freshly prepared for around £20.

Do you have the details? I know Wasabisabi do a reasonable lunch deal but it's not on their website.

Noodle Inn, for instance. Some argue that this is the best Chinese place in Sheffield.

Won ton soup - £2.50

Three roasties (crispy belly pork, BBQ pork and duck leg) with big plate of rice or choice of noodles - £7

Chinese tea - £1

Complimenatry ice cream or yoghurt, or, if lucky, a Chinese desert (last time I had turtle herb jelly).

All of these dishes are fantastic, fresh and authentic.

Opposite is another Chinese cafe. Free tea, free prawn crackers and I think they currently have a %20 discount. It's a great place to relax, take a paper or work. Food is very good, though not quite up to Noodle Inn standard, as yet. You can eat and drink here very well for £10 - for two.

Yama sushi - You can get two or three pieces of well made sushi here, plus a bowl of ramen soup for around £6.

And my latest discovery on Sharrowvale Rd - Two Steps fish an chips. Mini fish, chips and peas for £1.90. There's a few options under this deal and the food is cooked very well.
