Anyone know about Malin Bridge Pre School? My daughter is going back today after a good 2 weeks off and have to travel from town.

And yes I do have a phone and I do have the intelligence to call them, unfortunately the phone always goes to answer machine, and has done for the last year she has attended.

Indeed,

We were up monday morning at stupid o'clock, checked the Bradfield School website, where it stated that the buses were all running and that they would definately get there.

Rang school to confirm, was answering machine as it was so early, with same message.

So we set off, half hour journey to nearest bus meeting point, left child and went to work 15 miles away.

Got phone call over an hour later, child still stood out in -5 conditions, no bus had turned up, lucky they managed to walk to their grandparents, I had to leave work to get them.

Tried ringing school all day, they just put the answering machine on.

Meesage on website this morning was basically a rant stating it wasn't their responsibility it was Mass Transit at fault - however it wasn't Mass Transit telling us to leave our kids waiting was it.

My child is now off ill again, not that it matters by the sounds of it as the bus didn't turn up again today.

Maybe in future they shouldn't make gaurantees they have no control over.
