medusa Posted July 7, 2011 Share Posted July 7, 2011 It won't cause you to vomit- just have a really nice boiled sweet to suck to take the taste away afterwards and you'll be fine. It's not the end of the world. I managed to not have a general anaesthetic whilst having an operation on Tuesday, and that wasn't the end of the world either (I opted to be awake to avoid the weeks of puking I always get after a GA).
