The Saturday Rock Show - Aug 26th 1978 (final show)

***************************************************

The late Alan "Fluff" Freeman is a UK rock radio legend.

This 3-hour show was the final Saturday Rock Show (for 11 years anyway)

and is therefore quite poignant as well as having a happy, upbeat feel.

The 'giants on album' are featured - timeless classic rock....

Apart from the great music, there are amazing classical "jingles", a news bulletin,

the album chart rundown and a comical tribute/farewell sketch from John Peel and Peel's

producer, John Walters.

This is possibly the best radio show I've heard in my life !

What could be a finer tribute to one of the best DJs the world has ever heard ....
