Hard drive the size of £1 coin!

Toshiba has developed a tiny hard drive which measures less than an inch across but can hold between two and four gigabytes of data. The drive, about the size of a £1 coin, was announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas - more...

 

According to the article (click the "more..." link) many other manufacturers are now working on these tiny hard drives. The end result will mean the price of iPod clones will drop drastically over the coming 12 months. It's an amazingy feat of technology and makes me greatful that Dabs had sold out when I wanted a MP3 player at Christmas!

The Toshiba Hard Drives are going in something called a "minIpod" which comes with a wrist strap! :D Ipod of course has a clock as well :)
