ChefField
I've read reviews here and there, but am looking to head down Eccy Road on Fri night with a lady friend and want some suggestions where I should go for something to eat - any types of restaurant welcome... Thanks.

astronaut77
Fellicini is a really nice italian restaurant, nice atmosphere/decor etc. Menu isn't extensive, but everyone can find something they like on there usually. Santino's - italian again, huge menu and food is delicious. Not very intimate though and can get a bit rowdy if there are birthday's etc in there. Ayesha's - indian, great food, fantastic service, nice relaxed atmosphere. There's loads more on Eccy Rd - these are just a few of my faves! Hope you have fun - and I would recommend booking cos it does get busy at weekends.
Smiler
I've only been in La Vina once, for a drink and it was just about OK, no atmosphere to speak of. I have two friends who have been for a meal and wouldn't go back. Santinos does good food. The Pasta Bar on Sharrowvale Road is cheap and cheerful. simone1975
I used to love Santinos but they've cut the menu way back and the taglitelle I had a few weeks ago was inedible and had to be sent back, I was really disappointed.
ellielambert
Hi, I would recommend either Fellicini or Mogul Rooms on Sharrowvale Road. Both delicious and good value. Ellie
