fritzthecat
Wrong. If you read post #718, you'd know that Parking Attendants are exempt from most traffic regulation orders, so, they aren't parked illegally at all. So its a case f 1 rule for them, and 1 rule for the rest then?? :loopy: Planner1, can you explain how this has allowed to be the case? are their cars when parked illegally not obstructing others, or do their cars have special powers that allow other cars to pass through them without hinderance?? No it isn't, it's a practical necessity for carrying out their job efficiently. The offending vehicle is already there so there shouldn't be any more of a problem if the CEO's park sensibly. All Local Authorities exempt their vehicles.

It' a practical necessity for carrying out their job efficiently for those that deliver to my business when the bus lane is in operation to park nearby - but the restrictions still apply. MR BENN
And they can't deliver at a time when the bus lane isn't in operation? yeah yeah blah blah blah -usual party line. how about sod the buses for a change and give drivers some slack
Little Buzz
And they can't deliver at a time when the bus lane isn't in operation? Not always - it doesn't correlate with the opening hours of the shop, and road traffic conditions mean deliveries can come at all times. Why can't those enforcing the zone park in the marked bays at the correct times? Of course it would help if they hadn't shaved a few metres off each bay ... green_god
This should be £3500 per annum not £35. Hows that helping the environment at such a low rate?
Little Buzz
This should be £3500 per annum not £35. Hows that helping the environment at such a low rate? The stated aim is not to help the environment, it is to free up parking spaces. What is £35?
MR BENN
This should be £3500 per annum not £35. Hows that helping the environment at such a low rate? shut up you fool -tip ,dont walk in front of 4x4"s with bull bars:D
sccsux
No it isn't Yes it is. Why should they be exempt? They should face the same problems as the rest of the motoring world, them maybe they wouldn't be so trigger happy and wouldn't lay in wait for a ticket to become expired by a couple of minutes so they can issue a ticket, thus ensuring their quota! And they can't deliver at a time when the bus lane isn't in operation? And if your business is in Hillsborough? Ill thought out advice is worse than no advice:thumbsup: This should be £3500 per annum not £35. Hows that helping the environment at such a low rate? Tip - Ignore Mr BENN's advice above. Do walk in front of 4x4s with bull bars (or not, for that matter). A knock to the head may make you feel a little better:D
