We would like to go out for a nice meal on friday night, but we will have been at work all day so I don't want to leave Gadget all day plus the evening as well.

With this lovely weather, there must be plenty of places where we can sit outside and bring him?!

We Live in the Lowfield/Heeley area, so somewhere walking distance would be great.

Anyone know where we could go?

Katie,

There's some up at Lodge Moor that allow dogs (I think I'm thinking of the right place...)

Also, the Pomona on Ecclesall Road - you can sit in the beer garden there.

Unfortunately a lot have stopped serving food outside for some bizarre reason! I know of a website with lists of dog friendly eating establishments - if I can find it, I'll post it.

Thanks Lotti!

I've looked on 'doggie pubs' and thats got some suggestions but again, they're either in the middle of nowhere or don't serve food.

Another option is to go somewhere really picturesque and have a picnic...

The problem in town is the lack of beer gardens I suppose....

does the Rutland do food on Friday nights?

Somebody on the thread for the august meet said they do dogs (I think)

Or catch the train out to Edale. Both of the pubs up there welcome dogs and both do really good food

(actually - anybody fancy a dog meet in Edale on Friday night? :D )
