Admiral (used to be good until it was taken over a few years ago). ---------- Post added 11-12-2012 at 15:57 ---------- The other fish thats common in the fish shops is Pollock, it may be a good idea for people to say which fish and chip shops still sell cod and chips instead of bland fish and flavoured batter. Maybe he meant Panga? Quite a few chip shops have punished for selling it off as Cod. It's a fresh water Vietnamese fish that looks like Cod, but the taste is not there. top4718 Posted December 11, 2012 Share Posted December 11, 2012 I've said it before (and I know its not in Sheffield) but Dawson's in Worksop is a small old fashioned no nonsense chippy and is the best in this area by a mile, had some for tea last night, exceptional.
