If I hired a builder and he only got "quite a lot" of a wall straight, it wouldn't fill me with confidence about his legitimacy. I might even think he was a charlatan. pedalnpaint Posted July 10, 2013 Share Posted July 10, 2013 I do believe in "ghosts" but I have trouble believing that they're intelligent and can be interacted with, so therefore are, for all intents and purposes, "alive". I believe its residual energy in a space when the person spent a lot of time in when they were living. I hate the word "ghosts" btw because it over simplifies and trivialises the subject of spirituality and the afterlife but the word isn't going anywhere soon because its universally understood. mrs patching Posted July 10, 2013 Share Posted July 10, 2013 I too didn't believe until i saw the old lady who owned our house before us. She died in a nursing home and my daughter saw her first . You may laugh at this but the Ghost Adventures programme has shown beyond reasonable doubt that there is some kind of paranormal; it is very scientific, they use specialist equipment etc, many people just refuse to accept it.
