kentonwaspe Posted January 31, 2010 Share Posted January 31, 2010 just seen the weirdest thing in the sky, moving at a steady speed at about the height of light aircraft, diagonal in shape with a low engine hum, like a jet engine but not as loud, anyone else see this, abou 9.53 this evening, i hope so, just to confirm that i'm not seeing things. singo Posted February 15, 2010 Share Posted February 15, 2010 Perhaps I'm jumping the gun here but I think he may have seen the light from the furnaces at the Steel Works near the airport lighting up the clouds above with a bright orange glow. I live near there and it did happen tonight at around the time he first posted. Maybe he saw that and NOT the dreaded Chinese Lanterns as so many of you assume?
