Have a look at https://www.blogger.com/start or http://wordpress.com/. :)

Anyway, went to Platillos on weds. The décor is really nice, and the whole place seemed very friendly and relaxed. The bar area downstairs is very pleasant to chill in. The service was great, and the food was very tasty and it didn't break the bank either. For 6 it cost about £65 quid - a couple of dishes each, and a bottle of Cava.

A really nice place to go with friends.

cheers for that. will look into setting my own blog up!

We went just after christmas for the first time with friends.

The whole experience was top notch.

Nice bar, buzzing (but not too noisy) restaurant, nice decor all round.

We don't tend to do Tapas too often but couldn't fault the food at all.

I was surprised to read foodcritic's ratings. I would have put them a couple of numbers higher.

In fact, the service was so good we left the waitress a very generous tip.

Possibly the only slight grumble was that all the dishes were brought out at once, but maybe this is normal for Tapas?

Had a lovely meal here at the weekend. The menu must have changed a bit as as a lot of the dishes were different to those described in previous posts.Anyway the atmosphere was great and the food really was delicious. The portions are quite small for some of the dishes such as seared tuna but mainly seem to tie in with the relative expense of the ingredients, though the cheese platter was extreemly generous. So quality rather than quantity and well worth it.

Another great review from foodcritic.

We spent a happy Monday afternoon in Platillo's recently which we expected to be a bit quiet. Initially we weren't too excited at going upstairs into what we thought would be an empty restaurant on a traditionally quiet day. So we were delighted to be in a 2/3rds full restaurant, buzzing with activity and a few people that we knew. The food was fabulous, the wine a knockout and the bill not as large as we were told to expect!

Definitely one to go back to for those long lazy (and eventually quite hazy) afternoons.

You seem to be getting into happy Mondays Tony!!
