lastlaugh
Hi We run The Last Laugh Clubs which are Thursday nights at The Lescar (reopens Dec 6th), Fridays and Saturdays at The Memorial Hall and Sunday nights at Sheffield Uni and Hallam Uni. I understand that the Abbey is for newer acts, which is great and is vital if we are to keep bringing new acts to the circuit. It also means that they can charge as little as they do on the door. We run with much more established acts, who are all VAT registered and want hotels, so we're a bit more pricey. we're on http://www.sheffieldcomedy.com
Gazza54
Hi EstherQop, I keep saying to you through other threads that ABBCOM at Bar Abbey is the last thursday of each month. So just again, it's the last thursday of each month!! Next one is on 29th Nov. (dec one will be a bit earlier on the 20th Dec) Hopefully see you there. As Last Laugh says ABBCOM is a night for newer acts such as myself to hone their craft and for somewhat more exerienced acts to try new material. This is represented in the £2 door charge which is just to cover costs. more info on http://www.myspace.com/garethurwin thanks
