happyhippy
Nobody is moaning at the reason they cancelled, just the fact that they are having to pull out of the gig, it says on the web site they are dissapointed too. £24 for tickets to see two headline bands isn't bad. The cost of touring must be massive, and those costs are 'beyond their control' Misread you mate. To be honest I'd rather see a full 'Ryche set anyway. Haven't seen them since Wolverhampton a few years ago when they did Mindcrime and Empire. I can't agree that they're a 'headline' band anymore though, much as I love them to bits. When they played Wolverhampton, the gig got downgraded from the Civic Hall to the Wulfrun due to lack of interest. Looking forward to seeing them next time anyway ....... jake
Sykes dedicates every gig to the memory of Phil Lynott and claims he plays this material to keep the memory of Lynott alive. ...and keep his bank manager happy... I'm sorry - but it really is scandalous going out as Thin Lizzy.. Did many people go & watch what is effectively a tribute band?
