Les Mason of the C.T.C.

Recommended Posts

In the Fifties, can anyone remember Les Mason who was the C.T.C. D.A. local Secretary. ? Brufton or Alan Kirk. I think Les lived at Woodseats and ? Brufton and Alan lived near to Meersbrook Park.

The Sheffield D.A. use to meet socially each Wednesday at the Lowfields School, end of Queens Road, Heeley.

A man named Frank Lockwood often showed his slides of photographs he had taken in far away country's and places, he had cycled to.

One show that I remember very well, was the one where someone had changed a slide. Instead of the beautiful view from a summit in the Alps we were treated to a beautiful view of something else!! (That was before Page 3)!!

Had old Frank ever found out who had done it, The DHSS. Pension Service would now have one less to pay!!
