And I seem to recall we had a "Minister of Drought" - hosepipe bans etc. - Dennis Howell? Music - just to add - Northern Soul, Barry "the walrus of luuuurve" White. Virgin Records and Mike Oldfield's "Tubular Bells". Massive gigs at Knebworth - Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd & Genesis. Films - Star Wars. Thatcher elected as Prime Minister in 1979.
