nick2
What was Milestone like? Menu sounds good, just wondered if its one of those places with ideas above its station or it pulls it off well? it's a bit metrosexual-uber-trendy, the deserts are ok though. weenireeni
Jabu on london road is really good fun and great food! fantastic fun! its a dumpling and chinese style restaurant. You get dumplings first then you have a big pan and pick a selection from meat, veg, fish, a soup stock and dipping source. Its cooked right in front of you on the table. not expensive and bring your own booze. recomend booking. favorate at the moment! wasabisabi on london rd is always good, expensive but worth it, if you go in the afternoon ( before 4 i think) including weekends you can have a set menu for about 12 quid. i also really rate noodle king on eccelsall road, been a few times always good and i like sheiks lebonise restaurant on west st, just up from cavendish £7.50 starter and main mon- thurs before 7.30, cant go wrong! I went to Sheiks last night and it was delicious! For £25 you can pick 3 starters, 2 mains and 2 drinks! Portions were good sizes and the food was lovely. Definitely be returning! I had the most gorgeous lamb kebab, and the felafel starters were amazing!
