muddycoffee
Some mates of mine gave the 3 cranes the nickname "the snowflake". This is because the noise that the floor makes when you walk in is a bit like crisp snow crunching underfoot. Here is a pic of the place on my website taken in 2000 http://www.thewookie.co.uk/pubs/3cranes.jpg One of the most interesting things is the large semicircular bar which is full of a great variety of decent ales / or at least was the last time I visited. happyhippy
The Gents is like a Tardis as well. There's a narrow corridor, before you walk into a huge cavern.
gularscute
Has it re-opened yet? I hope they've sympathetically restored the creaking floor and eschewed all notions of a deep clean.

It has not been closed, Nobody has taken it over yet, so the creaky floorboards are still there. Give it a try its a lovely pub, great food and drinks and the landlord is a good bloke.
