sauerkraut
Sorry I've been quiet for a while. Here's my attempt at the December topic. (link removed as I've revised it a bit: see post no. 4 below) Enjoy! P.S. Forgot to say I've based this on "Disservice: Because we're not satisfied until you're not satisfied"
Hopman
An interesting take on the topic. No doubt Mrs Biggs (sic)is demotivated enough to never buy from the company again. It is probably a work of fiction; in real life there would be the inevitable demand for a postcode. However, there is something about Jessica that rings true, I'm sure there are many similar Jessicas out there. I won't give away the ending, but I thought it was quite a twist. On the whole, a shocking indictment of customer service.
sauerkraut
Yes, it is fiction, but it is indeed based on characters I've come across! I agree about the postcode, but I thought I'd tortured the reader long enough...
sauerkraut
For Hopman, and for the sake of authenticity, I've amended the original story to include the postcode. I've taken the opportunity to correct a couple of typos as well, just in case Peacock Lady is reading! Here's the slightly revised version: Link deleted by author
shoeshine
I loved that penetratingly true modern day experience you have so succinctly identified and described sauerkraut.
