HughW
I can't find a Henry Wilfred RIMMINGTON, but there is this houselhold in the 1901 census index: 1901 census (index only) Census place: Brightside Bierlow (Sheffield) James Rimmington 26 Labourer General N K Elms Ada Rimmington 22 Yorks Sheffield William Rimmington 3 Yorks Sheffield Henry Rimmington 0 Yorks Sheffield ...where Henry could be James Henry, whose birth was registered shortly before the census: GRO Births MAR Qtr 1901 RIMMINGTON James Henry Sheffield 9c 644 If you order the birth certificate, which you can do online here, this may clear up any confusion with the father's name and also give Ada's maiden name. This may be the parents marriage: GRO Marriages SEP Qtr 1896 RIMMINGTON James FISHER Ada Alice Sheffield 9c 638 ...agian a certificate would be needed to prove the link. For the Eastwood family I think the floowing are the marriage of the parents amd the birth of Dorothy... GRO Marriages DEC Qtr 1898 EASTWOOD Albert DAVIS Rebecca Jane Ecclesall Bierlow 9c 659 (note - 2 other names on page, not necessarily a couple) GRO Births SEP Qtr 1920 EASTWOOD Dorothy (mother's maiden name: DAVIS) Sheffield 9c 1074 These GRO references all come from FreeBMD Hugh
