We did a record breaking day that was way above last year and were packed from Noon to Midnight with only a few 'lulls' between bar crawls.....how was it on West Street and other circuit bar places? We were a lot busier than last yr......2 9's of handpull alone (a lot since we dont specialise like dove) Full from 2 till 7 standing only mostly, then like you say lulls thru till about 11 depending on bar crawlers. Not record day, that was Newcastle United at SUFC Home but twice as much as a 'good' Friday! Dont open till 5 today as there is no footy, wonder if tonight will be busy too? Finished working at 1pm, did secret santa then went to a restaurant for christmas dinner, then went round the bars afterwards, got train back to Sheffield at 10pm. medusa Posted December 23, 2007 Share Posted December 23, 2007 I went out to pick up my BF after his works' do on Friday night at about midnight and lost count of the number of people who tried to hail me as a taxi on the way there (including a couple who swooped at red lights and actually tried to get in the car with me!). I didn't go through the centre of town either. Obviously it was the one day of the year when there are too few taxis to go round for the number of people who are out throwing beer down their necks.
