Facts: 1) the documentary was edited to feed what the media needed to gain attention (negative media ALWAYS sells more than positive) 2) the lady who made the dolls after the programme got hundreds of custom orders, she robbed people of thousands Of pounds worth of deposit money, went bankrupt and changed her name! 3) the lady called sue (whom went to America) didn't go specifically to collect a doll, she went to see a Show with her mum where she goes every year. She doesn't normally push the doll round, the programme encouraged her too to and said they would put a positive spin on reborns. 4) the grandma shortly after the programme tried her hand at reborning and is now a very successfully reborner and micro rooter herself!! 5) I have yet to meet a reborner or collector who think they are real. Although they may refer to them as babies they don't actually treat them as such!! 6) reborning IS A WORK of ART! Just like painting a picture!!! The reborners are so very talented!! Think that's all. Hope some of the people who originally posted on this thread can now look back after a few years and realise how stupid they seem now they know the facts!!! This does not include those who simply said they look creepy because of course to some people they will and that's understandable. Please note Ashton drakes are not reborns, they are Factory manufactured dolls meant to lookmlifelike. These are suitable for children. A reborn will cost well over £250, has micro rooted hair and takes over 60hours to do, a reborn is NOT suitable for children and is a collectors piece. Thank you.
