TylerXIII
I've just finished 'David Copperfield' by Charles Dickens. For anyone who hasn't read it, it's a fantastic read & Dicken's favourite book of his own.

alchresearch
"The Van" by Roddy Doyle, picked up for 49p from a charity shop. Reading it you can almost imagine Doyle writing it with Colm Meaney in mind!

curriechick
Recently read Room by Emma Donoghue, which is a bit Josef Fritzl but told from the viewpoint of a 6 year old boy, born in captivity. It covers his time in the shed he was kept in, the escape then his view of the "outside" world, a good read but a bit disturbing as even though it is fiction you can't help but think of the children of Fritzl. Amaranthus
Jodi Picoult - House Rules. Really interesting so far; about a teenager living with Aspergers. Told in first person narrative by himself and the people around him that it affects.
curriechick
Love Jodie Picoult and have all her books still waiting for the new one to come out in paperback as I have arthritis and find hard backs a bit too heavy especially when reading in bed. Good to hear your view of it, thanks:) Edited April 12, 2011 by curriechick spelling mistake
