taxman
I'm about a quarter of the way through The President's Last Love by Andrey Kurkov. The narrative switches between 4 different stages in the character's life so I have to be on the ball to keep all 4 threads going. It's engaging, interesting and humourous but I've read his books before and I know there will be heartache and misery along the way as well. Typically and brilliantly Russian
