My Dad was called Ken Brooks and is Mother was called May. Her Maiden name was Cassidy and when her Mom married it became Brooks. My farther was born while while my Grandmother was not Married and in 1920s this was not on. He was Brought up by my Great GrandMother and his Mom later married and became Travis.He had a Brother and Sister called Jeff and Sylvia. I spoke to my Dads Uncle after my Dad died,he was called Joe Brooks. After we spoke all he would say is that my Dads Father was an Irish steel worker with a family. This happened around 1930.
