tazman Posted January 8, 2008 Share Posted January 8, 2008 I am currently trying to enquire about what if any the chances are of locating and hiring a narrow boat or boat from the canal basin at Sheffield that can be used for a wedding anniversary type buffet celebration. Has anyone out there in Forum land done this type of thing before and had any success at all ?? All advice gladly received as the planned event is in March and I need to get a move on. Ta. We've hired the restaurant boat (A39 I think it was called) for an evening, it travelled from Victoria Quay to Tinsley Locks and back, had a bar on board and a pea & pie supper was served on the outward leg, and music was played on the return leg.
