I've tried a search but I can't find them. can anyone help? Hi, I saved a couple of images of the roundabout and toll gate to my computer a few months ago before the Picture Sheffield site went down. The first is a picture of the Hunter's Bar toll gate way back in 1884. It’s really hard to imagine it once looking like this. The second was taken in 1950 from outside the tennis club on Ecclesall Road looking back towards the roundabout. It doesn't look too dissimilar from today - except for the lack of cars!
