What did your school report say about you ?

Recommended Posts

Bringing this old but interesting thread back I would add a further fault to my OP. I never let anyone get a word in edgeways !!! Ive got to listen more and not butt in.

Over 73,000 posts on SF in just 7 years too. That's a sustained rate of 30 per day. You still have a lot to say :)

Can't really remember reports, but one thing comes to mind from when we took the mock CSE's. I took the one for Tech Drawing and I hated the subject, the teacher (Mr Robinson, Bushy Bo*****s) put at end "it would be a waste of Peter's time, and the taxpayers money of he took this exam".

Funny thing is in later life I became skilled machine setter operator, and this involved reading drawings, funny how life turns round innit

Its called reverse psychology, and perhaps he saw you had some latent ability if you actually applied yourself in a mature fashion rather than show off in front of your mates

Could do so well if only he applied himself, needs to stop hanging around with the friends he has as they are leading him astray and take more interest in his school work.

The thing is I wish I'd have applied myself more but the subjects were just so boring. Even things I'm interested in now were delivered in such a grey manner that it took my own study years later to perk my interest in them. I genuinly think if I went to school now I would have done so much better.
